About AThrottleholic
My name is Lewis Jones — and I am a throttleholic.
I’m a motorcycle rider, traveler, moto-camper, and the guy behind AThrottleholic.
What started as a way to share rides and motorcycle adventures has grown into a place for road trips, backroads, gear reviews, installs, moto-camping, and the stories that happen along the way.
I ride because I enjoy the miles just as much as the destinations — the small towns, unexpected stops, great roads, weather I’d rather avoid, busted plans, and everything else that makes a motorcycle trip memorable.
Through the YouTube channel, blog, and Throttle Fix, I share the rides, gear, lessons learned, and hopefully a little inspiration to get out and put some miles on your own bike.
Why I Ride
I spent a long time away from motorcycles. Then I got seriously sick with COVID, and it changed the way I looked at life. It reminded me just how short life can be — and how easy it is to keep putting off the things you want to do and the places you want to see.
So I started riding again. What began as getting back on two wheels turned into road trips, new destinations, new experiences, and eventually AThrottleholic. Now I’m chasing the places I’ve always wanted to see, one mile at a time.
